01 — What that means
We build businesses, not products for other people. Every venture here is one we own, earn from, and are still answerable for long after it launches — which is a different discipline from delivering something and moving on.
The starting point is a market, not an idea: a real need that current technology serves badly or not at all. The demand already exists. What is usually missing is a way to serve it that is simple enough to adopt and cheap enough to run.
Technology is how we get there rather than the reason for going. It is what lets a very small company operate a real business — and keeps the cost of being wrong low enough that finding out is worth it.
